Master0396 Posted April 15, 2015 #1 Share Posted April 15, 2015 I heard from a friend recently that 18 year olds are no longer allowed in the casino? He sailed on the Norwegian Breakaway at the end of march. Is that true?

luvtheships Posted April 15, 2015 #4 Share Posted April 15, 2015 (edited) I heard from a friend recently that 18 year olds are no longer allowed in the casino? He sailed on the Norwegian Breakaway at the end of march. Is that true? I doubt that's the case that the age has changed. but the end of march would still be in the spring break so they might have made some restrictions like they do with the drink packages Fwiw anyone as far as I know anyone can and sometimes must walk thru the casino but to play its 18 Sent from my iPhone using Forums Edited April 15, 2015 by luvtheships

He sailed on the Norwegian Breakaway at the end of march. Is that true? Hmm. I had never even given this a thought. I just assumed that it was 21 as it is in most of the US ( I think ). Of course this is a cruise ship and not US flagged. Interesting.

jusstice Posted April 15, 2015 #8 Share Posted April 15, 2015 NY casinos are 18 but they don't have table games. more importantly, they don't give away alcohol which is what I think drives the age limit at the Racinos like Empire and Resorts

Neither does NCL except to CAS players under certain circumstance but you have to show your card so that danger would be eliminated.
Rare mking8288 Posted April 15, 2015 #10 Share Posted April 15, 2015 (edited) Gentling is behind the ops of Resorts World NY and they don't give away any alcohol, if you go to their land rasinos to play, you need to pay for wine/beer & hard liquor - coffee/juice & soda are free & comp'd to players seated at the terminals, for a tip, of course. Empire City in Yonkers is the same - probably somewhere in the NY State codes & regulations with the SLA watching ... :D:D Edited April 15, 2015 by mking8288
