Carnival Sensation to take over Carnvial Victory sails out of Miami

Does any one know exactly when this change is due to occur? I have my flights and hotel booked, so am getting worried that a different ship/different days may impact those bookings. Would appreciate any info in this regard.

 

edit; just did a search on Carnival website and the first Sensation sailing I see out of Miami is not till Feb 2016, so I should be ok with October/victory this year. ( I hope )

Our booking is a different ship (Sensation instead of Victory), but the same dates and with the exact same itinerary. You should be fine.

 

Suggest you call your travel agent and ask them if there is any change.

Have read that the balconies on the Empress Deck rooms mid-ship ( don't have the paperwork in front of me, but think our stateroom number is E99) are very tiny and not worth the money.

 

Can anyone confirm if the *D balcony classed room on the Sensation would have a smaller balcony rated 8D on the Victory?

 

If so, I'm thinking I'm going to be asking for a larger OBC to make up for the shortfall. We want a balcony we can sit on and enjoy the view while enjoy a beverage or perhaps room service breakfast.
