TheDarkestBlue Posted April 28, 2015 Author #26 Share Posted April 28, 2015 Another question please? :) What time do you think muster drill will be with 8:00 sail away? 7:15? How do you work a 6:30 dinner around it? Thanks for all the help!

Although it always amazes me how many people just "waltz" in at at 5:25 as if they had more important things to do and the rest of us could just sit there and wait for them to finally show up. :( Thus the drill never starts on time but there will be enough time to make even an early dinner. YUP Should have been on our HAL cruise we stood outside for 1 hr because people did not show up & when they did never shut up so you could hear the instructions They will be the ones pushing others out of the lifeboat in a real emergency Edited April 28, 2015 by LHT28
buggins0402 Posted April 29, 2015 #31 Share Posted April 29, 2015 (edited) Ok...you might have to cut us idiots some slack that think the drills are run like the old parochial school drills when we were kids. It took us four cruises to figure out that they didn't want us to wait until the actual alarm sounded. We actually would go to our cabin, wait for the sound and then proceed to muster. Edited April 29, 2015 by buggins0402

dancer11 Posted May 26, 2015 #33 Share Posted May 26, 2015 We've cruised quite a bit, but we are booking our first Oceania cruise, on the Riviera. I'd looked at vidoes on You Tube, but the pictures on their web site left nothing unanswered, except one question: What is the best cabin location on deck 9? Thank you so much http://www.thepreismans.com/riviera_mayan.htm
Rare LHT28 Posted May 26, 2015 #34 Share Posted May 26, 2015 What is the best cabin location on deck 9? Best is subjective we were near the aft elevators & have been between the elevator banks no problem with either location Most of the cabins are the same ;)
