Yinster Posted April 28, 2015 #1 Share Posted April 28, 2015 We are about to book onto the Norwegian Epic into a family mini suite but am wondering which ones will have a bath tub in them? Thanks
lbrandon Posted April 28, 2015 #2 Share Posted April 28, 2015 Look at the shape of the room on the deck plan. If the bump in the room is closest to the balcony then it has a bathtub.
TrumpyNor Posted April 28, 2015 #3 Share Posted April 28, 2015 (edited) We are about to book onto the Norwegian Epic into a family mini suite but am wondering which ones will have a bath tub in them? Thanks Just wanted to make sure you understand that a mini-suite is not a "proper" suite with the perks that comes with a suite (from your headline it would seem like you believe it to be a suite).... Yinster Posted April 28, 2015 Author #4 Share Posted April 28, 2015 Yip I know it is really a bigger stateroom but I also know some come with a bath tub. :) Do you mean the bump giving more space to the stateroom or less space nearest the balcony to be ones with the bath tub? What class of room would that be? Thanks
Cubechick Posted April 29, 2015 #5 Share Posted April 29, 2015 I thought on the Epic that all family mini-suites had tubs?
TrumpyNor Posted April 29, 2015 #6 Share Posted April 29, 2015 (edited) I thought on the Epic that all family mini-suites had tubs? On ncl.com it actually states that the family mini-suites has shower OR tub... http://www.ncl.com/cruise-ship/epic/staterooms/Mini-Suite#EPIC_FAMILY_MINI_SUITE_BALCONY_M2_M3_M4_R-staterooms-gallery And if you take a look at this webpage from cruisedeckplans.com, there are many photos from the mini-suites (also from bathrooms) that shows some of them with bathtubs and with the stateroom number for each photo: http://www.cruisedeckplans.com/DP/deckplans/category.php?ship=Norwegian%20Epic&cat=Deluxe%20Balcony Hope this helps the OP. :) Edited April 29, 2015 by TrumpyNor
norway olin Posted April 29, 2015 #7 Share Posted April 29, 2015 Talking only of family minisuites on Epic. The deck plans will show every other room with a notch closer to the balcony. The notch is where the bed goes, closer to the balcony. Those are the ones that have a tub shower combo. If need be I can post a visual.
cruisencrazy Posted April 29, 2015 #8 Share Posted April 29, 2015 We had a family mini suite on the Epic last month and did NOT have a tub. We did have a huge shower. It was a wonderful room with a ton of storage. Have fun!!
Yinster Posted April 30, 2015 Author #9 Share Posted April 30, 2015 Thanks for all the advice. Will take a look at the deck plan and also the page that TrumpyNor directed me to.
beachbrat Posted April 30, 2015 #10 Share Posted April 30, 2015 I was in a Haven 2 room suite and there was a large bathtub with a huge picture window where I could soak and enjoy the ocean view. The shower had floor to ceiling windows! Best money I ever spent. :-)
Tiggertastic Posted April 30, 2015 #11 Share Posted April 30, 2015 I wish I had known that when we'd booked a mini suite, we had a shower only
