beirne Posted April 7, 2004 #1 Share Posted April 7, 2004 Just got my air...AA terminal to ATN's 3:45 flight in just two hours: any problem? Also, did I understand you can walk up and buy an upgrade to business at the counter? At a set price? Thanks in advance...
kb9mu Posted April 7, 2004 #2 Share Posted April 7, 2004 2 hours is the minimum I would allow. I had 2:15 between arrival on AA and departure on ATN. I checked my bags through to PPT, but you still have to check in at the ATN counter for a boarding pass (no E-tickets). The ATN counter is in the Int'l terminal. I had to leave the terminal where American arrives, go outside and walk to the Int'l terminal. It's not far, but it took time. We probably had 30 minutes to chill before boarding. SFGiantsgal Posted April 7, 2004 #3 Share Posted April 7, 2004 You should have enough time. It usually doesn't take that long at LAX. We had just over 2 hours and had time to spare. Yes, on a space available basis, ATN will offer upgrade to business class at $600 per person. We did this our first trip over, but decided to save the money for other things this time around. The seats in business are nice in that you can get comfortable by reclining and putting your feet up and the food was great, but it wasn't bad in coach either.... Have Fun!!!
