srjones1 Posted June 20, 2015 #1 Share Posted June 20, 2015 My wife and I will be taking my Grandmother, 83, and my Mother in Law, 76, on a cruise out of Charleston. Having never cruised from there I've been reading up on the port, the ship, etc. and it seems parking is a ways away and requires a shuttle. My MIL and Grandmother don't get around as good as they used to and I'd venture a guess my Grandmother would struggle boarding a shuttle. Does any one know if I can drop them off at the entrance instead? Thanks

I'm sure they handle similar circumstances all the time. There may be a special wheel chair accessible vehicle if she's in one. Posted on the Port of Charleston web site, "Shuttles accessible for special needs and wheelchair assistance are also available."
