Offers received from Club Royale (Royal Caribbean)

I was just on the Navigator Nov 23. I searched all over that casino for a $5 slot or higher. Asked slot tech about them. He replied they don't have any as the ship had just come back from Europe. Eu types don't do slots. Hmmm...

Throwing this question out there. Have any other RCL casinos removed the HI D slots ?

Next up is Liberty Jan 13.

Just got an email offer for a free inside room on any sailing of Freedom out of SJU between April 1, 2019 and December 31, 2019. They must be having trouble filling this ship.  We are already booked on a complimentary Freedom sailing (4-28-19) which we upgraded to an Owner's Suite.  Airfare was a bit pricey but still a very good value, overall, for a 7 night cruise from SJU in an Owner's Suite.

This is the first email complimentary offer in a while.  Most of my comps have been coming by snail mail.

I haven't gotten an e-mail offer in a while myself! Will have to keep my eyes peeled for one.

I received a similar email today that was offering a Junior Suite on the Freedom.  We would love to use it but we already have a half dozen cruised booked in 2019, four of which are casino comps.  I just might have to retire and cruise more! :classic_biggrin:

October 2020, baby !

Congratulations!

I'm just a month ahead of you.  My target is September 2020!

Fortunately, I am able to "practice" retirement travel as I have my own business and have a flexible schedule which helps a lot!

Just got a snail mail offer and wondered if anyone else received it.  It is a list of cruises that goes through October.  Just tried to book and they said it wasn’t in the system yet.  That is strange since it wasn’t email.  It came the long way through mail.

I just received an email offer for as complimentary inside room for the Golden Easter Egg Hunt on board Independence April 1, 2019 (5 night) or Navigator April 7, 2019 (5 night).  We don't routinely fly away for a 5 night cruise so this wouldn't be something we were interested in...plus we are already on a cruise in April on Freedom.  The offer code on this one is H19EGG4.

Even though we aren't interested in going, I checked and there are still suites available on both of these cruises.  There is even a panoramic view (no balcony) suite on the NAV.

I still can't figure CR out.  I'm Signature and I got the same offer, but for only $250 off a cabin.  :classic_blink::classic_angry:

Wow !  That makes no sense at ALL.

The only thing I can guess is that they see that I have so many cruises already booked (15), that there's no need to offer me anything.  I'm not even trying for Signature this year.  Maybe if I'm a high point Prime, I'll get better offers.  I'm already at 12,000 points, with 4 more cruises booked before March 31st.  I've been stopping at around 2,000 points on my cruises. Not worth it to gamble more.
