Thanks so much for letting us know! Did our free annual last week, as soon as it came out, & now no longer had it in our offers (so didnt see the exp date change). Called today & was able to change it from Jan'21 to Ap '21- much better for our schedule. Kept same gs cabin & only had to pay $7 for the difference in the port charges.

We did have a comp one on May 20 on the Oasis that got cancelled. I will give them a call to see what they say

Darn I had a march comped cruise as well as a may comped cruise.  I just checked and only offer on both our accounts is the prime freebie.

So when you called CR confirmed that we get this freebie and still get another freebie april 2021 to use thru march 2022.  If so. That is great news!

Yes they said the tier freebie we got this year was good through March 2022 and we should get another one next spring also good through March 2022

Well I still have not gotten that July 19 cruise re-booked. I also have not gotten a call to Oregon. Yesterday I got Guatemala. Just as with Jamaica. They knew nothing about re-booking the cruise. That's 3 phone calls picked up by Jamaica and know nothing.

Just a bit ago I got a good phone connection. It was with Manilla ! She knew of the re-book option. But could not re-book as a refund has already been started ! I have spun my wheels with Royal for a week.

Who is running this circus ?

Here are the two 20MRO offers we got.  We ended up booking the 11/8 on the Oasis and and 11/15 on Allure.  For the 20JFS offers, we ended up booking two cabins on the 1/4/21 sailing on the Anthem.  I did not get a list for that one, but from what I understand it was any length sailing in Bahamas/Caribbean not on a holiday and excluding Odyssey.

Are you calling this # below ? This is on the bottom of the club royale page, where it shows your offers if any.(after you put in your name & royal #). I usually get Oregon when I call.
"As part of the Royal Caribbean and Club Royale family, our Casino Representatives are available at 888-561-2234 to support and assist with any questions or concerns you may have."

Yes that number sometimes #1 other times #2. Also the Prime number. I am fairly sure that where you get placed might have something to do from where you call from. I have not got Oregon since mid-April. Of course I am in Texas.

Just plain frustrating to have all those bad phone connections, and reps that don't know they can re-book. Then emails to club royal did not get any real action. Poor service.

I guessed an email address, and got a phone call. Maybe now I will get something done. I should know for sure by Monday.

Hubby and I each have Prime Cert. Can we book 2 cabins on same cruise?

We have always done that in the past and then when I called today, Oregon said no more than one certificate per household per cruise. That is ridiculous as we are entitled to use or certificates for any cruise within their requirements. I wasn’t in the mood to argue and by chance my husband and I are currently in different households so I was still able to book two rooms, but I would say you should argue it.

another option is to have you book one and have your husband book another on a different call, with the appropriate “different “ companion if any. Otherwise book as a single.

Canada: The announcement has been made today that the Canadian government has extended the cruise ship ban through 10/31/2020. The extension of the ban makes operating cruises to Alaska or New England tough because laws require foreign-flagged vessels leaving from a U.S. port to stop in a foreign port before returning to the United States.

I just noticed the address bar for cruise critic shows UK ?

I just checked offers. A late one came in. 20MRO106. My wife and I both have it. Can we combine those (oceanview) for a 2 category upgrade to JS ? I just hate trying to call club royale.

They can be combined but I believe you would get a balcony if your offers are for ocean views.

Just got off the phone with Club Royal. It is only the the latest suspensions that are being able to move their bookings.  I believe she said it was for sailings after June 12 and it must be done by June 6.  It needed to be the 3rd suspension or later.  Ours was the 2nd suspension so unfortunately did not qualify for rebooking with the offer we had.  She did say that she can see based on our play that we both should have received some of the more recent offers that came out, but neither of us did so she is going to email Club Royale management to request some of the offers opened up to us.  She told me to check the site again on the weekend if she does not call me back.

I asked about the expiry date of the tier offers.  She said they got an email about the change to the expiry date in the last day or so and the email specifically says the new 3/2022 expiry date for this year's tier reward will NOT affect us getting another one for next year. I assume that should have an asterix beside it *barring any changes to the program*.

I was told by a rep that there may not be a 2nd free cruise April 2021, due to the short sailing year.  That's why they were extending the April 2020 offer to 2022.  I would guess that they will offer those that actually sail between April 2020 an March 2021 and  earn enough points for another yearly cruise would get it, but it wouldn't apply to those that didn't actually earn enough points during the year.

Called CR and got someone fairly quickly.  She put me on hold for several minutes but then came back and said that the only offers they have for us are our annuals. Bummer.  Not that I have the time to really take any more this summer anyway.  Just wanted to make sure we weren't missing something that we should have.

CR rep from OREGON just phoned me. The re-booking canceled 3rd sailing (June-July) goes through end of February 2021. Well that is more info than I had. First conversation with Oregon for me since mid April. At least they seem to know something. The other call centers (work from home reps) did not.

Have to do the re-book by June 6.

Well an hour trying to book that MRO offer. Phoned main CR number punched 2 for new. Finally got a young man I could hear. sadly he was not casino so had to transfer me. Got Guatemala and another bad phone connection. Echo, static, drop outs. Lots of time on hold. Nearly done when dropped.

Phoned Prime number. Got Guatemala again. 1 1/2 hours lost.

Was going to book Majesty. The wife and I have same OVW offer. Thought I would combine for JS upgrade. No balconies on Majesty.

About ready to just give up with CR.

Try emailing casino royale to ask them to have someone (from the US) call you back, since you would like to book a casino offer.

We've been on the Majesty & its sister ships, mostly in inside cabins-very small (before playing in casino & getting offers). Built before they had balconys. Our first Royal ship was its sister ship Sovereign (when it was the biggest at that time).

Last year, we did a jr suite on the Majesty- very nice.

I did send email to CR. I stated what I wanted to do. Not holding my breath on getting anything done. This is really getting old. RCCL or CR really has a problem.

I have sent emails and posted mail to Fain and Bayley.

That is correct info.   If you already requested a refund for your July cruise they cannot do the re-book option (at least that is what I was told).     I think time of day has a big part to do with who you get on the phone.    Memorial Day I called around 10 am and got a woman in Manilla (problems gave the Americans the holiday off).    Yesterday, Sunday, at 10 or 10:30 am I called club royale and got a women from Oregon.   I have found it is best to call in the morning - earlier the better.   Also, I always call 888.561.2234 and have never had any wait time.

I called on Sunday to book my 2020 tier cruise for a March 2021 sailing and got through in about 5 minutes.  That's the good news.  The call took an hour and 24 minutes as the coding for the comps was not being accepted by "the system".  The rep had to contact a supervisor who was also working from home.  Between her on hold and the supervisor on hold, she made four different calls before the booking was approved and accepted by the reservation system.  Part of the delay may also have been that I upgraded my cabin as part of the booking process. At least the call didn't drop and I had a good connection with a good rep.  Tonight I had to call to change the stateroom as we are sailing with friends and we adjusted our cabin to be near them.  That call went right through and the rep had it done in under 4 minutes which is normal for just a same class cabin change.

Another strange thing that I was told was while I am an agent, they couldn't put the reservation through the agency I am affiliated with.  They said this was a recent change to Casino Royale tier cruise bookings and in the place of the old method where the agency owned the reservation and got regular commission on any commissionable fare, they have gone to a flat commission.  Of course the rep couldn't explain how that will work and there was no reference to my agency or agency number that RCL used to track their bookings for TA's.  I'll be contacting our agency's RCL rep to sort this out as we never were informed of any changes to the booking or commission procedures for casino comped or $ off cruises.  Something new every day!
