I was told that A) if they were to offer it to me, they might have to reprice the cruise to the current rates, but B) it wasn't combinable with a comped cruise anyway.

This seems like a really high value. I wonder whether they're changing the point values from $5/point to $1/point.

 

In comparison, Carnival's "Drinks On Us" card is earned after only 1000-1500 points (depending on the length of the cruise), and NCL's House Drink Card is earned at 750-1500 points.

Blah! I think they send all these offers out just to taunt me. I end up not being able get/use any of them. I bet they start charging me for drinks too this cruise.

I had applied my rebate to get cash in the casino on a cruise last year, but when I showed up onboard, they had no record of me getting a rebate on that sailing. I had to wait a few days for them to contact Club Royale to find out about it before I could get the money.

I'm hoping that given that there'll be a higher number of Club Royale members on this sailing that they'll be more thorough in ensuring everything is taken care of. Of course, with more members on a sailing, I fear that things could slip through the cracks.

Anyone get this one? The only benefit seems to be a free massage, you would be getting your rebate regardless. I also like how they say that if I earn 5000 points I can get drinks for free. The drinks are normally free anyway and I don't play slots...

I recently receive an email from Celebrity listing their 2016 Blue Chip Club Tournament sailings for slots and BJ. Have not been on Celebrity in a few years. Interesting they have my email to send out offers but still can't receive emails from CR, only snail mail from CR.

 

I called CR today to confirm my rebate for Liberty's 10/3 sailing and also asked when their 2016 event schedule will be available, since I already received one from Celebrity, they said any day now.

I asked when 2016 event schedule will be available several times and got different asnwers: a) by end of November b) by end of the year c) in January

 

but all past years list available by end of the year always :)

 

I didn't call for massage bec casino host always offer it :) or let me refrase it ...that paid my bill in these categories (spa/dinner/photos) up to 10% of loses or 5% of wins (not sure exactly but something like that)

For the first time ever in August, the Casino Host did pick up or deleted a few charges off my bill. BUT, I noticed my cash rebate was less money and feel they deducted what they took off my bill from my cash rebate.

I also received that offer. In the past I've had free drinks so it looks like that perk has to be "earned" now? I am not a high roller by any stretch but I do bet $2-$5 on slots if they're paying out. Booking through Club Royale saved me 20% on a GS, had my rebate applied to the cruise fare, and was told to check in with the casino host first thing to redeem the massage.

I got a free cruise certificate (Oceanview cabin) on my recent cruise (last week). They give you such a short window of sailings to choose from, it makes it hard to take. I had the option of any sailing of my choice to get a $750 credit but sailing has to be by 1/31. My problem is I already have a lot of cruises booked and can't fit another in. I earned a $600 rebate so I will take that on an existing booking instead of the free cruise: once the rebates end, I won't have that option anymore so I hope they give us more of a window to take the free cruise

I find it very interesting that the comps/rebates aren't proportional. I guess that's one of those Club Royale mysteries.

Sure! The certificate is valid for any sailing through January 31, 2016, but the selected sailings go mostly for the same period with a couple sailings in February 2016.

The last sailing on the choices is Feb 25. There's a bunch of 3- 4 nt MJ and 4 nt EN. One 9 nt Vision out of Tampa. No 7 night OA or FR ships.

 

Thanks for posting the pic Marc :) oh there ARE 7 nighters. Forgot about those. Come to think about it, that's a slightly different list than I got too! I don't remember mine having any Anthem sailings!! Also I had no 3 night sailings on EN

I wish i could pick a cruise from the list. I'd love to choose one of the Anthem cruises, but all of my vacation days for the next year and a half are booked up with cruises already! #firstworldproblem

 

Fortunately, though, I was able to apply my rebate to my March 13, 2016, cruise. It just squeaks in before the deadline to use rebates (March 15, 2016).

I just got back from Liberty of the Seas sailing October 17-22.

 

For your sailing, I'd guess you'd get sailings through the middle or end of March.
