Suggest for Lunch [the House Gourmet Burger etc :)]you book. Same for a Beach Day with drinks, just out of courtesy (it is good to talk).

Cocktails are great. Service is wonderful.

Shared Taxi there is $12/14.00 each (drop off by the taxi on the way to Turners Beach)

When ready to leave, JO will arrange for a taxi back to the ship. :D

ENJOY!

Do you have a copy of the menu by any chance?

Sadly no, as it changes regularly, but it is always superb.

It is Gourmet food served on the beach

Suggest you contact them direct for a copy, as I know they would be happy to hear from you and support your ask. :D

You are suggesting we contact for beach use - chairs plus some food. Can you pass on the contact.

Thanks

Just out of courtesy, to let them know when you are arriving, this is an old school manners place, and mark the Email for the attention of Lance (the owner). His DW is Jacqui.

Email-

lovebeachantigua@gmail.com

You will meet some nice people there, who may go on to be great friends. :D

Thanks for the reply, I have emailed as suggested.

One more question if you don't mind!

The taxi fare is it per person or per car?

Thanks!

Taxi price was for 2 persons in a shared taxi. Your are dropped off from the shared Taxi (mini bus) to Turners Beach and Bar.

Been informed that the taxi rates have increased to about $8.00 each.

Give Lance and the Team my regards.

Have a wonderful day:)

Is this better and easier to get to than Friars Beach (not sure of spelling)

On the island twice many years ago.

Believe it or not, Ffrye's Beach. When I was there (many years ago) I was told that there were two Ffrye's beaches: Big Ffrye's (to south) and Small Ffrye's (to north, nearer the port).

I thought Big Ffrye's was better: had a restaurant at north end, which was closed for "extermination" when I was there (don't know whether of pests or customers).

I had to walk over to Darkwood (just south) to get something to drink. Also a fine beach. Turner's is south of Darkwood, also nice.

I have another quick question.....

One of the people we are travelling with loves to poke around local shops for souvenirs. Is there anything close by to Jacqui O's that he could walk to?

Port Royal thanks for all your input how far in advance should I contact Lance?

Minimum of 10 days :) open a dialogue. It is good to talk :)

You and your Lady will love the ambience, the food, the service, the people and the guests.

Be warned! There may be no going back. ;)

Can I get some clarification on this place? When I go to their FB page it looks like it's simply a restaurant on the beach. Do they rent those chaises on the beach to patrons? I mean, sounds like a great place to eat and get drinks while spending the day at the beach, but a majority of our day will be on the beach and in the water...

All the loungers, chaises and sofas are for the use of JO patrons only. There is a small charge (about $10.00 for the day) for the loungers and chaises. Your chaise/lounger can be positioned on the beach to your request (no problem), from where you will be served drinks/cocktails by the superb and discreet wait team. Enjoy your day :D
