Sten0127 Posted July 2, 2015 #1 Share Posted July 2, 2015 Hi All! I've tried researching this by looking at older reviews of the Miracle but am still confused. Does the ship time adjust to be the same as local time when you are docked in Puerto Vallarta, or are you off by an hour or two? I want to sign up for zip lining (not through the ship) as early as possible to avoid the heat, but if the time is different, even with docking at 8:00, we wouldn't be able to get where we need to be by 9:15. Appreciate any help anyone can give! Thanks!!
welldone60 Posted July 2, 2015 #2 Share Posted July 2, 2015 It's very confusing on the Mexican Riviera cruise. The ship changes time twice during the cruise but are never the same as local time at the port stops. If I remember correctly, ships time will be 1 hour behind local time in PV. If the ships time is 8 am, it's going to be 9 am local.

southbayer Posted September 21, 2015 #7 Share Posted September 21, 2015 You always stay on ships time... All the vendors know about ships time and they base their entertainment around that.

KatieBug28 Posted September 21, 2015 #9 Share Posted September 21, 2015 Thank you so much for asking this! I have been worried about the same thing. We are trying to book a sea turtle excursion, and I'm getting so confused about the time difference! Seems silly to keep the ship on different time from the shore! cruisinitaliano Posted September 21, 2015 #10 Share Posted September 21, 2015 You are correct about not being able to make the 9:15 time based on Port arrival. Our cruise spent the night in PV. We went to Los Veranos on the second morning. Very easy, off ship, went to meeting place and it was AWESOME!!. Booked online for $67.00 Maria will help with all issues if you call the number on their web site. I do not know what the poster meant by all vendors are on ship's time. Maybe the vendors using the ships excursions, certainly not any of the locals. They live on their time, which is 1 hour ahead of ship's time. In regard the ship's time issue, a number of us had this discussion onboard. They asked us to move clocks ahead 1 hour I think the first night. Why not ahead another hour near PV?? About 10 people in our Los Veranos tour missed the pickup because they showed at 9:15 ships time, which is 10:15 PV. Never once did we see any notice or mention made of this fact while onboard. The folks that missed th pickup had to pay about $25 cab fare to get them up the mountain. Anyway, have fun. There are alternative zip lines that offer rock climbing, ATV's and Donkey rides. Choose the one that fills your needs. Los Veranos was the BOMB!!
