However due to its proximity to the bow there was considerable noise in the morning when we pulled into port due to the thrusters or anchor. Balcony Size Narrow but long. Balcony included 2 reclining loungers with separate footstools, 2 side tables and 1 round table. Balcony was so narrow the round table for dining could not be set up or moved from the corner it was wedged in. View Amazing view from the bedroom window of the bow of the ship. Balcony views also unobstructed. Privacy Issues None Wind minor when at sea Soot No Problems None Comments The cabin had a large and spacious bedroom, with ample storage. It was more than comfortable for our family of 4. Previously we had booked 2 interconnecting balconies and were worried about the single washroom to share but it was never an issue due to the separation of the toilet from the shower and tub. Given it’s location in Forward, it was a bit of a trek to the main parts of the ship we frequented but we didn’t mind the extra steps as it allowed us to burn off the extra calories. Would rebook this in a heartbeat. 5

Its midship location is very convenient to everything. It is close to the lifts and stairs but not close enough to experience the associated noise. This is one of the recessed cabins that sits next to the 'bumped out' cabins midship. This means that people on the bumped out balcony next door can see into this balcony, but we did not find this a problem. We could see the balconies below us and the balconies above us could also look down on us. We did not have any issues with any of this. The balcony is large and has a fantastic starboard view. It is also partially covered and was still useable even on rainy days. The cabin itself was very spacious by cruise ship standards and had more storage than we needed. Accessible No Quiet Mostly quiet, occasional engine noise when maneuvering near docks etc. Balcony Size Usual mini suite size View Unobstructed Privacy Issues None. Wind Usual amount Soot None Problems None Comments One thing we liked about this cabin is the balcony is more private than the mini suites on Dolphin plus you are sheltered somewhat from weather because you have the dolphin mini suite above you. One slight drawback (not for us) was if you wanted to go to activities towards the bow you had a longer walk. For us mostly we wanted to go to places that were in the stern or midship so not an issue. There were elevators only a few cabins down from where we were with a quick ride up to the Horizon Court. Also being on Emerald you are only 1 level from the Promenade deck. You are behind where the lifeboats are so you don't have obstructed views as many of the Emerald cabins have. Don't remember Quiet: Vibrations when docking/undocking, some gentle engine vibrations at sea. Not too bad Balcony Size: Large spacious balcony with one table and 4 chairs and 2 loungers + side table, plenty of space and a wooden rail along the back to lean on while looking aft of the ship. The balcony has a blue grid material on the deck, assuming because there might be sea spray? It wasn't comfortable bare foot. Our party also had a similar suite up on deck 12, Aloha 751 was very similar but their balcony had a wood deck that was much more comfortable. View: Great view of the wake behind the ship. Overhead is protected, there was always shade to be found. Privacy Issues: None Wind: Protected Soot: No issues with soot on my trip Problems: None Comments: We had a wonderful time in this cabin. It was quiet, and John our room steward did an amazing job. Enjoyed the club class dining, and the other perks that come with a full suite. Soaking in the jacuzzi tub was lovely, and I like how the shower/tub is a separate room from the sink/toilet. Someone could be showering or soaking and the other bathroom area was still usable for others. I highly recommend having breakfast on the balcony one day, in nice weather it is quite special to wake up and have a lovely breakfast neatly prepared out on the balcony. Just make sure to order it the night before. Overall enjoyed this spacious room, we played cards, ordered in a few times, and hung out on the balcony plenty. Highly recommend! This cabin has fresh carpet installed, they did it on one of the port days during our trip. Edited March 3, 2023 by EricW578

Behind TV has one outlet available if your cable is long enough. Generally aging decor but was perfectly comfortable and spacious enough. Miss the extra seating. Only 1 chair for desk. Our experience in E307 was similar. I did hear some noise from the casino below. There was amplified music and a voice but it was rarely heard and all was quiet from below after midnight. As pointed out by the next post, the crew door across the hall slammed frequently through the night and morning. Lots of crew chatter in the vicinity one particular morning. Privacy: while there was window washing and painting outside the window, workers eye level was well below the window. We brought a multi outlet extension and it served us well. I agree they could have added another chair. Ample storage space for clothes and baggage. We were pleasantly surprised.

Close to the elevators at the back of the ship, but if you are going to deck 6 towards the front, you need to take the mid-ship elevators or if you take the back elevators, get off on 7, walk through the Crown Grill lounge and then take the stairs down a level. We used one of the pulldown beds. It wasn’t too intrusive, but in the mornings, since we used the one closest to the balcony, had to be careful walking around it. Plenty of room in the cabin for 2 adults and 1 teen.
