Cheers question

Hello,

 

I will be on the Glory on Sept 19th and have a cheers question. I have done the package before and my boyfriend and I are fans since we do like to drink heavy on vacation. Well, if say by the end of the night, we have not reached our 15 drink limit or just cant drink anymore, will they give us a beer with the cap on if we ask for it nicely?

 

We will be beaching it at Half Moon Cay and St. Thomas and would like to take advantage of all our drinks by bringing some beer to shore. I know its technically against policy to give unopened drinks, but does any one have experience with getting unopened beer from a bartender. We usually cozy up to a few with tips throughout the cruise in order to get best service and good pours on our drinks, so we were hoping to possibly get in good with someone who would do this for us.

So bartenders will, some bartenders wont......... that has been our experience. You are right about getting to know a few........... also, watch for when the "head" bartenders are around and who they are (for instance in casino). If the head bartenders are around, they wont do it.

I have done this without an issue, I usually give the bartender a little extra tip and they have never had an issue with this.. people have reported taking a soft sided cooler with them to half moon with some beers they have obtained this way... you should not have an issue with this from most bartenders
