AdrenalineRush Posted July 28, 2015 #1 Share Posted July 28, 2015 (edited) Since Vista will have its own dedicated area for Chefs Table, I'm wondering if that will increase the number of seatings they have per cruise. http://www.tammileetips.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/01/CL_VS_ChefTable02_ren-1024x683.jpg https://book.bestholidaycruises.com/content/images/Cruise/1/13712/Gallery/The_Chefs_Table.jpg Edited July 28, 2015 by AdrenalineRush
tncap Posted July 28, 2015 #2 Share Posted July 28, 2015 Those were my thoughts. The fact that there is a featured space for it, even on the deck plans, makes me think they will offer it more than once or twice per voyage, which is the norm now. CatlinSTJ Posted July 28, 2015 #3 Share Posted July 28, 2015 I hope so! Pretty excited about the dedicated space. Our last chefs table experience was on the Ecstasy and we were in the library just outside the dining room and had tons of faces stuck to the glass watching us. AdrenalineRush Posted July 28, 2015 Author #4 Share Posted July 28, 2015 (edited) Hopefully, they will do some trials on the first few cruises. Not sure if they could fill all the slots every night, but maybe every other night. I know often small groups sailing together would all like to eat at the chefs table together.... An added bonus would be if they offered two different menus. Guess we will have to stay tuned. Edited July 28, 2015 by AdrenalineRush

AdrenalineRush Posted July 28, 2015 Author #6 Share Posted July 28, 2015 (edited) How much is it to dine there? Do you book in advance or once you board? $75 This info covers chefs table The Chef’s Table Carnival has an exciting fine dining option for our guests – The Chef’s Table. This one-of-a-kind culinary experience includes an exquisite multi-course private dinner hosted by one of the line’s master chefs along with a private champagne reception (soft drinks for kids) and a personalized tour of the galley. With The Chef’s Table, a select group of 12-16 guests (children must be 12 years of age and older) enjoy champagne and hors d’ouevres hosted by the ship’s chef de cuisine. The chef then takes the group on a personalized tour to see the galley in operation, providing participants with a unique perspective on Carnival’s extensive food and beverage operations. The evening concludes with a sumptuous full-service dinner with delicious appetizers, entrees and desserts created by the line’s master chefs as well as red and white house wine. Depending on the vessel, the meal takes place in non-traditional dining venues throughout the ship – the galley, library, conference center, etc. The Carnival Vista has a dining room specifically for Chef’s Table with window views into the galley. The cost is $75 per person. Children must be at least 12 years of age to participate. The dinner(s) as well as the dinner date(s) are subject to the number of guests wishing to participate in this experience. The dress code follows the dress code specified for that evening on board; since guests are taken on a personalized tour of the galley, open-toed, heels and shoes with slippery soles are discouraged.
