ernieb Posted August 26, 2015 #101 Share Posted August 26, 2015 It seemed that by the end of our cruise the norovirus had pretty much disappeared as on the last evening the Captain finally said he was happy to announce good results from all of the cleaning and hand washing. I think we were kept in Code Red to ensure a "clean" cruise for the next sailing. Does anyone have a current status for the Code Red on the Royal?? Thank you. jellybungsters Posted August 26, 2015 #103 Share Posted August 26, 2015 We were on the 8/13 sailing and it was code red on embarkation day only. None after that first day. But crew always made everyone wash their hands before entering the buffet.

paddingtonbear Posted August 26, 2015 #105 Share Posted August 26, 2015 We were on the royal on 26 July to 8 August. The number of people who don't wash their hands after using the public toilets is astounding. It's so difficult to escape from the public toilet when you know the previous passenger didn't wash their hands and then opened the door. : ( No wonder noro outbreaks occur.
