legion3 Posted August 20, 2015 #376 Share Posted August 20, 2015 I'm not being nasty I'm asking a simple question repeatedly and nobody's answering. I don't understand if Norwegian has done so many things and you truly are upset I can actually sympathize but if you're not enjoying yourself why continue to put yourself through that torment especially when there are other line that have free room service and different itineraries NCL caused drastic changes other lines didn't. NCL is the cruise line that is the topic of this thread. Other lines are only relevant if they copy NCL's drastic policies.
legion3 Posted August 20, 2015 #377 Share Posted August 20, 2015 Yeah but let's be honest Suite guestsPay much more then regular room people do so technically they pay much more for room service lol Inaccurate, NCL does not charge suite holders room service fees. maywell Posted August 20, 2015 #378 Share Posted August 20, 2015 Inaccurate, NCL does not charge suite holders room service fees. Because look at the fare amounts of a suite/Haven to the other room categories like mini-suite and it understandable why the don't charge. Unless, you want NCL to start charging suite/Haven for room service - no skin off my nose. Sent from my SGH-T399 using Tapatalk
NLH Arizona Posted August 20, 2015 #379 Share Posted August 20, 2015 I can sure appreciate that :) I own my own company and have wonderful staff so I can go whenever I want as well. That's why I always look at beginning of Dec and after New Years for the deals. Last year I was in a 2 bedroom suite on Epic by myself for $1800 and not through CAS. I put my suitcase in the 2nd bedroom and otherwise never stepped foot in there :)Wow, that was an awesome deal. My best was 11 days for a little less than $800 for an aft penthouse.....I spent way too much in the casino the cruise before.

If they change that it would be another drastic policy change, and would be relevent.
legion3 Posted August 20, 2015 #381 Share Posted August 20, 2015 (edited) NCL's Escape supper club might have been free or reduced the first night, now it is full fare. the other two ships used to to have the show free or reduced the first night and now they don't Edited August 20, 2015 by legion3

I've had some beauts through CAS but now I bet more per hand, 55-65 hours of play and barely get offered an inside anymore. Don't like the changes there either. It's a joke among my friends because they bet $5 per hand and get offered balconies all the time. I did very well for many years, so I probably got more than I deserved before, so it balances out. I use to get a lot of comp play, so I would go really frequently. Now, not so much. I get better offers in New Orleans and Lake Tahoe, so I do my gambling trips at either one of those casinos. So far CAS has treated me well, hopefully they will continue to do so.
SuiteCruiser Posted August 20, 2015 #385 Share Posted August 20, 2015 NCL changed the CAS product. :( Yes they did. NCL owns CAS and it's also turned into a gong show. I'm not sure if everyone's picked up on what you're doing, but I think it's hilarious :)

Are you a slots or table player? I'm a table player, so that doesn't get me much. Going to try some slots this time around and see if it helps. I was Golden last year and lost that status in the changes they made in April where they changed the program from what you'd been earning towards all year. I've said it before, I wish they would mirror Caesar's Total Rewards program.
sjbdtz Posted August 20, 2015 #389 Share Posted August 20, 2015 My future with NCL cruises may hinge on my experience on the cruise I have booked in order to use my last cruise deposit. The casino is off my list of things I will do because of some confidential info I received. What have they done to the casino? NCL changed the CAS product. :( What has changed with the CAS product? We have 14 days in an AFT PH suite in South America for $2200 total... and I'm VIP so super-premium drinks included.... This whole thread feels like mountains, which in reality turn out to be molehills. .

Those changes are neither mountains or molehills, they are simply changes since many people booked. Edited August 20, 2015 by legion3
abe3 Posted August 20, 2015 #391 Share Posted August 20, 2015 (edited) I like to play in the casino. I am not a CAS person. I don't need to spend thousands of dollars in a casino. If I wanted to spend that much i would head to Vegas and not waste my money on a cruise where I could do other things and be with my family instead of waisting all my time in a casino on a ship.
