Dream Bizzare Rooms?

We booked an inside guarantee for the Dream in January. It will be a B2B, and I am well aware we might need to change cabins at turnaround.

When I went into my cruise manager, it shows I preferred "Twin" beds. I called my PVP to get it changed I was told I could not until my cabin was assigned. I was told there was no way I would get bunk beds (I told my PVP I would not book if that might be the case.) I was also told I would be able to get the beds configured to King/Queen unless there were any bizarre configured rooms.

Other than 1A rooms, does anyone know of any interior rooms on the Dream that would prohibit the beds being put together?

The only "strangely" configured interior might be the 4J Handicapped cabins in the front of the ship. The Interior with the big windows looking out on the secret deck. Some may have a large POST in the middle of the room and the beds cannot be moved together.

Are you sure that there's no way that you could get a 1A (bunk bed) room? I have always noticed that interior guarantees say that an upper/lower room is possible. It is unlikely, but not impossible. There have been several reports of people getting assigned an upper/lower. Not a ton of reports, but there have been some. It is possible that your PVP is unaware of this possibility. It wouldn't be the first time that they don't know their own rules. But it's also possible that they booked some type of special interior guarantee, where they "upgrade" your minimum possibility somehow.

To your question, others have mentioned those 4Js. The ones that say that the beds cannot be pushed together are the handicapped rooms. There's a good chance that those will still be available when guarantees are assigned, so you could end up with one of those. People have reported that the beds actually can be put together. I think that it's listed that they cannot be put together because if they are, then a wheelchair cannot fit through the room. If there is no wheelchair, then this isn't a problem.

I have a friend on the Freedom right now in a 4J corner stateroom and that is exactly the case. She posted photos of her cabin and the bed is configured to a queen/king. (She is not in a W/C)
