CruiseNut24 Posted August 9, 2015 #1 Share Posted August 9, 2015 Will be taking a curise next October that will run over Halloween. Does Princess do anything special for Halloween?
Murphey Posted August 9, 2015 #2 Share Posted August 9, 2015 Yes! We have sailed many times over Halloween. The kitchen will do an amazing pumpkin carving display. There is usually a party in whatever club in on that ship and lots of passengers dress up! It's always fun!
compozer Posted August 9, 2015 #3 Share Posted August 9, 2015 Yes, Halloween is a fun evening on the ship. Many get dressed up and they have costume contests. Trying to decide what to wear for our upcoming cruise. - something that won't weigh too much or something we can toss so we have room for our purchases. Enjoy your cruise. paul929207 Posted August 9, 2015 #4 Share Posted August 9, 2015 Waiters, CD & staff dress up. We will be on the Crown this Halloween. We will be crossing the International Date Line and will therefore have two halloweens
hpeabody Posted August 9, 2015 #5 Share Posted August 9, 2015 Halloween is lots of fun on Princess. The ship is all decked out with spooky stuff all over. The crew really dresses up and the passengers get into the dressing up and decorating cabin doors too. Bring something to dress up in definitely! (captions in Spooky Orange) Dunno where you are cruising...if in the Caribbean you should bring your own costumes; Halloween is not a Caribbean thing. Mikeyto Posted August 9, 2015 #9 Share Posted August 9, 2015 Yes, the ships are decorated, the Crew & Staff dress up along with many of the Passengers. At least one of the clubs has a great Halloween party. Great times for sure!

Griller Posted August 10, 2015 #11 Share Posted August 10, 2015 Last year it coincided with the most travelled party so we came in costume, made for unusual photos with the officers, Captain was busy on the bridge..
Rare Waynetor Posted August 10, 2015 #12 Share Posted August 10, 2015 I agree with the majority here - first to reply to a tour post gets the spot. If a tour organizer has a few roll call members that they want included, then contact them first outside the roll call and then offer any extra spots If too many reply, the organizer has the choice of asking the tour company if they have an extra vehicle or passing the companies name on to one of the late comers to contact the tour company in order to start their own second group. emmak8 Posted August 10, 2015 #13 Share Posted August 10, 2015 We have sailed on Halloween several times. Great fun!!! The waiters and staff dress in costume. The pumpkin display is amazing. There are usually few children on board except for the crew's children. Last year on the Regal they dressed in costume and passengers made a huge fuss over the little ones. skf Posted August 11, 2015 #15 Share Posted August 11, 2015 All of our Halloween cruises have been in the Caribbean. The ships celebrates it and go all out. Quite true in the ships. I meant that the Caribbean citizens do not share our love for Halloween, so there isn't much for costumes except pirate garb.

Cruzin L Posted August 11, 2015 #17 Share Posted August 11, 2015 (edited) Also, people put decorations on their cabin doors. You can buy cheap items at a dollar store and attach them with duct tape or such. Rick Edited August 11, 2015 by Cruzin L
