cruiseat50 Posted August 15, 2015 #26 Share Posted August 15, 2015 (edited) I will warn you that using a wheelchair can be very frustrating in the hallways when the stewards are cleaning rooms. The carts and laundry bags stick out and are hard to maneuver around sometimes so in these cases a knee scooter would be better. I really don't know how people in electric scooters could possibly get by in cases of emergency. The other problem will be the tub/shower. Yes you could ask them for a shower stool but it will be hard to get in and out since the tub is so deep. Also if he will have a cast on and can't get wet... hmm. He may just have to sponge bath for the week.;) Good luck. Rare insidecabin Posted August 15, 2015 #29 Share Posted August 15, 2015 There are narrow motorized chairs available, if a big lad he may not fit.
