lysolqn Posted September 22, 2005 #1 Share Posted September 22, 2005 Celebrity recently sent (via e-mail) a birthday/anniversary coupon for $50 onboard credit to some of its Captain's Club members. The coupon stated it was good any for cruise booked between certain dates and as luck would have it, we had booked a cruise about two weeks prior to the start date. I faxed it in anyway and just checked my reservation which shows that the onbaord credit was, in fact, applied even though we didn't book within the prescribed dates. So if any of you have hesitated to complete and return the coupon because you thought the dates excluded you from doing so, give it a try!
wkoe Posted September 23, 2005 #2 Share Posted September 23, 2005 the important thing is to fax it in, using the number in the fine print at bottom (just like you did ) a number of people have posted that they tried to call it in, and get poor results with lots of frustration. that is because the instructions clearly state to either a) Mail it, or Fax it (fax number in fine print on bottom) or b) print it out, and present it to your travel There is a phone number on the coupon, but this is to make the new booking, NOT to redeem the coupon. Clearly, Celebrtiy has neglected to inform their operators of this coupon, because they never expected anyone to call it in http://messages.cruisecritic.com/showthread.php?t=231992
