QTPieRye Posted August 15, 2015 #1 Share Posted August 15, 2015 I am going on 2 cruises in November, both out of Los Angeles and am wondering: 1. Do I have to purchase Cheers Program on embarkation day or can I wait until the following morning? 2. If purchased the following morning, is the price the same as if I purchased it on embarkation day? I typically drink wine to celebrate embarkation day and turn in early for bed. Thus, Cheers for me personally, on embarkation day, would probably be a waste of $47.50. Thanks in advance :)
timhoke Posted August 15, 2015 #2 Share Posted August 15, 2015 I am not sure about the next day on the shorter cruises. If you wait until you are international water you won't to pay sales tax.
swscruiser Posted August 15, 2015 #3 Share Posted August 15, 2015 Not Sure but I don't think Cheers is available on cruises less than 5 days

Do I have to purchase Cheers Program on embarkation day or can I wait until the following morning? I think so. If you read the FAQ it is clearly stated that cruise from New York can not purchase until in international waters and from Texas until the second day. It further states the program can not be purchased on a day by day basis. 2. If purchased the following morning, is the price the same as if I purchased it on embarkation day?
