Luv my furbaby Posted August 23, 2015 #1 Share Posted August 23, 2015 Does it make a difference which side of the ship I'm on when in port? Would like some nice scenery. FYI - have never been to Bermuda so no idea what port is like.

GRO Posted August 23, 2015 #3 Share Posted August 23, 2015 The ship docks in different positions on a random basis so you never have an idea which way your cabin will face. Either way you get a very nice view.

buzzygirl1 Posted August 26, 2015 #5 Share Posted August 26, 2015 we just returned on Sunday from Breakaway to Bermuda, we had starboard side, which ended up being on the ocean side when docked at the pier, , but Bermuda is lovely either side, just REALLY enjoyed though having the sun come up on OUR side those few mornings docked. First trip Bermuda, and it is breathtaking, beautiful , pristine beach at Horseshoe Bay Beach, one of world's most photographed beaches, we see WHY . we rented an umbrella and two chairs for the day last Thursday and spent the entire afternoon there . Just beware that if you take the bus from the dock, it lets you out at the top of the hill, you have to walk DOWN to the beach, toting your beach stuff. But there is a little shuttle van to take you BACK to the top of the hill for $2, the best $2 spent in Bermuda. ! Bus or Ferry passes can be bought at the dock when you exit, we took bus, goes fast to beach, but scenery with the beautiful houses and buildings is worth the bus ride. Takes about 40 min from ship area to Horseshoe Bay Beach, plan for timing, as most people start to leave beach about 5 p.m., last bus out I think is 6 p.m. and didn't know that , almost missed it.
