Another Specialty/A La Carte Dining Question

some of you are probably in the same boat as i am(pun intended);

when we booked our late 2016 cruise way back when, the offering was the UDP free of charge; that wasnt our incentive to book but that was the offering then; so now with the changes coming to dining, i.e., a la carte, therefore reducing the number of 'original' specialty dining venues, what are your opinions of:

1) will they honor it at all specialties(those that were specialties back then)

2) if not, since cagneys for one is going a la carte, will they just charge a $15 upcharge or so like they do now for ocean blue or will it be a full a la carte even for UDPers

3) any other points about this you might think of

we would never cancel the trip because of this but i was just wondering how all these new dining changes might go down
