Valor turning away at Nassau

I was watch the valor sail into Nassau and as it

got to the entrance it turned around,

maybe to windy RCI Majesty of the seas already docked

I just saw it too. The weather is horrible in the Miami area according to the weather channel, so it might be worse in Nassau than what we can tell on the webcam.

Thats such a narrow channel as well... I was on the Destiny a couple of years ago with a pretty stiff wind blowing out of the east, as we approached the channel the Pilot had the nose of the ship aimed at the light house and at the last minute it felt like he let the ship drift into the center and through the channel into the harbor! I remember thinking that we literally where yards from the concrete reef structures..... For them to turn away it had to be seriously blowing!

Kind of strange to make that decision so late and close to port.

From the map on the webcam.......it looks like it has turned back to Nassau.

 

 

Maybe they were waiting for the pilot boat or something.

Valor is back

I wonder what happen.

manbe someones hat blew off and they went back to get it.
