Ches94 Posted September 25, 2005 #1 Share Posted September 25, 2005 My dh and I were hooked on the cruising concept in April. Now we would like to take our two yahoos...I mean ds ;) with us. They will be almost 3 and 5 at the time we would like to go. Any suggestions on ships that include Grand Cayman? Does camp carnival vary based upon what ship you are on? TIA to all! MERVYN BREMMER Posted September 25, 2005 #2 Share Posted September 25, 2005 Both Triumph and Conquest go to the Grand Caymans. I have yet to sail on Conquest but Triumph was and excellent choice for us when we went. Triumph is out of Miami and currently Conquest sails from Galveston
brodie Posted September 25, 2005 #3 Share Posted September 25, 2005 Miracle goes to Grand Cayman. It is one of the newer Spirit class ships and it has received mostly positive reviews. It sets sail out of Tampa, which is only 1 hour from Orlando. I am going in November and I am going in two days early to have a little fun at Disney. Good opportunity to introduce the little ones to a lot of fun. I have more fun there now as an adult than I ever did as a child. :D
Rare peanutzmom Posted September 25, 2005 #4 Share Posted September 25, 2005 Imagination out of Miami does Grand Cayman. When we were onboard in March, I kept half an eye on the Camp Carnival activities (we left the kiddos with grandma, but I wanted to see what was going on in case we bring them along next time). It looked like the kids were well cared for and having a blast! We saw them doing scavenger hunts, having ice cream parties in the Horizon Grill, etc. Since we didn't have our own kids with us, we couldn't get into the Camp Carnival area, but what we saw of the activities looked great!
