QTPieRye Posted September 9, 2015 #1 Share Posted September 9, 2015 What type of vehicle does Carnival use for transfer services and approximately how many passengers does it hold? Does it vary by port? I am looking for information in San Juan. We have 20 people using transfer services on embarkation day and wondering if that's enough for the shuttle to head to the port. Thanks :)
virginiab Posted September 9, 2015 #2 Share Posted September 9, 2015 It's a full size bus, so I'm guessing 50 passengers or so, so 20 will not be enough for them to head off to the airport. Sorry.
DarthGrady Posted September 9, 2015 #3 Share Posted September 9, 2015 We bought an airport transfer (which also included a two or three hour city tour) from the cruise terminal in San Juan after a repositioning cruise. They used a regular parking style shuttle for the guests. I think those things hold 20-25 people. All the big luggage was transported in a separate vehicle. That particular cruise was on RCI, but I'm certain Carnival will be similar since they all just subcontract through local transportation/tour companies.
