Martini Tasting

We have a "martini tasting" as a group amenity for our upcoming TA on the Silhouette. Has anyone experienced this before? Curious as to how it will work for our group.

We've done it on our own, never with a group. If you purchase it you get 6 small martini's of different types, standard, apple, cosmo, etc. as part of the tasting. They are not quite "small", maybe 2 ounces each, and the 6 give you a lot of alcohol.

The 6 martini flight is a standard item on the Martini bar menu. Earlier this year it was $18 + 18%. Price isn't covered by the drink package. It is fun to get a group together, order 2 or 3 flights (12 -18 martini's) and watch as the bartender pours them all at the same time.

I think they may have a tasting card where you can choose your faves! It's fun to compare and give each other the rest of what you don't like.

Basically, the way it works is, they give you martinis, then you taste them. It can be a little confusing at first, but the bartender will help you out.

The martini flight was $22 on the Eclipse. The other martinis were $15.50, all covered on the premium package. There was no point in ordering the flight which was not covered.

Do note this pricing is INCLUSIVE of gratuities as sailings on Eclipse out of the UK are required to do.

I love to watch when they do 24 or more at once. They have to stand up on the bar.
