glentally Posted September 28, 2015 Author #5 Share Posted September 28, 2015 Food in the main dining room was ok. Skipped the first night. Second was prime rib, real good, third was turkey and the fixings, quite good, fourth was veal parmigana, could have had a half chicken roasted but didn't want to fight it to get to the meat. At home i could have picked it up and ate it. cabin was an interior, they are all the same to me, no complaints do and don'ts - comedy shows were real good like one better than the other mainly because Percy Crews 2 was way too loud, to the point of covering my ear and I and already old and starting to lose my hearing. Motown show was awesome, they took the party out to the atrium and everyone was dancing.

Can't wait to get away! yes, key west and coz. Coz was pretty bad if you wanted to do anything near the ship. Lots of scuba and snorkeling options. Bingo ( don't play) I think I heard or saw at least 3 bingo events. There may have been more.
WindyFreedom Posted September 29, 2015 #8 Share Posted September 29, 2015 What were some of your favorite parts of the ship? Like I always enjoy the piano bar. It is always a lot of fun. Was your experience fun (if you went to the pb)? Least impressed with which part? Most impressed with...? Thanks for being willing to review it for us. :)

Thanks so much for taking your time to answer questions! What do you mean by "Coz was pretty bad if you wanted to do anything near the ship"? Did you just mean that you had to take a cab/taxi to go anywhere? Thanks!

Thanks for being willing to review it for us. :) neon bar where they have the piano bar had limited hours. Casino bar band had its moments, atrium bar band pretty weak. I was busy in the comedy clubs late but the one night ( last) I was going to hang out in the nightclub and although it had just opened a half hour ago it was dead and since they allow smoking in it it wasn't someplace I was going to hang out. Did you just mean that you had to take a cab/taxi to go anywhere? Thanks! I was in Cozumel back in the early 90's. Ship docked right downtown, Carlos and Charlies was the happening place. Lots of little shops and bars also. After the hurricane took everything out it is pretty beat up. They are building a LARGE tent like enclosuer where the cab driver said all the cruise ship companies are bringing in vendors. In about a year things might be normal, right now as of last week I would miss it. The dock where the carnival ships dock is really just a bunch of shops with junk. Go somewhere, do something ( boat ride, snorkel, beach, scuba dive ) other than stroll around because I think you will be disappointed.
tw67 Posted September 30, 2015 #12 Share Posted September 30, 2015 Thanks! I know what you mean! Once on a cruise with my friends we did the Bar Hop and that was a lot of fun. With my family, we just head to Paradise Beach!
shebag Posted October 1, 2015 #13 Share Posted October 1, 2015 Good time, everything I expected. Any one have questions to will be happy to answer if I can Hello, thank you for the offer to answer questions. we will soon be sailing on Ecstasy, was wondering what the price of beer or cocktail is. We are debating buying the drink package (ie $49 per day for 14 drinks max) and we are wondering if it is worth it as likely we will not be drinking that much per day especially on port days. Thanks in advance

Thanks in advance I bought 2 beers -Sam Adams can 16 oz. $7.20? each with the gratuity. The rest was rum runner drinks ! I'm a big drinker and if I didn't do the rum runners I would get the package, I 'm just too cheap. Edited October 1, 2015 by glentally

glentally Posted October 3, 2015 Author #16 Share Posted October 3, 2015 do you remember if the new room service menu was available? i've found conflicting posts on whether or not ecstasy got the new one yet...thanks! I only ordered room service twice in 14 cruises. I di order a BLT and a cheesecake but I don't know if it was a new menu or not. I was looking for wings because someone said in another post they had them but there were no wings so my conclusion is maybe no new menu.
