LzyCruiser_NWA Posted September 29, 2015 #1 Share Posted September 29, 2015 I recently got a cruise refared but one of the leg of the b2b shows canceled and another one booked in the same cabin etc. So is it safe to clean up my profile and just delete the canceled reservation? Iamthesea Posted September 29, 2015 #2 Share Posted September 29, 2015 I am keeping my "Deleted" cruise (turned over to a TA and refared) because I am afraid that fooling with it might cause the "new" cruise to be deleted.
jelayne Posted September 29, 2015 #3 Share Posted September 29, 2015 I have 4cruises that I booked with a TA and then cancelled & rebooked onboard then transferred to a different TA. I don't delete them because I don't trust that the system will not delete the active booking. Had a booking last year that was thru a TA one day I was looking to book dining times and noticed that the reservation had the name of another TA, not the one I booked with. The TA finally got it straighten out.
Iamthesea Posted September 29, 2015 #4 Share Posted September 29, 2015 You said it so much better than I did. :D My "Deleted" in red was meant to say "Cancelled". Going back to look and see if my TA name is listed on the reservation. Never noticed that before. ;)
LzyCruiser_NWA Posted September 29, 2015 Author #5 Share Posted September 29, 2015 Ok so I'm not the only one that this happens to. I'll keep my "canceled" ones.
Project_gal Posted September 30, 2015 #6 Share Posted September 30, 2015 I have deleted "cancelled" cruises many times [cruises I had on courtesy hold and then booked with Celebrity - they always seem to need to cancel the original booking] with no problem at all. I really find leaving them showing on My Celebrity confusing.
