skeeter195 Posted October 7, 2015 #1 Share Posted October 7, 2015 I have a different question that I hope maybe one of you can answer. I play mostly tables and I am having a hard time accumulating points on my recent cruises. Does anyone know how much the video blackjack machine in Spinnakers(I assume all Jewel class ships have this like the Gem) comps? I know that the comps for slots are 5-1 and the VP is 10-1, but does anyone know about those blackjack machines? I have played them while waiting for a show before and the game actually has the same payouts and even a surrender option which can be to your advantage at times. I was playing $25-100 a hand, but do they go higher? If the comps are good, and the stakes are high enough, I may be spending my time there instead of worrying about getting the correct ratings at the live tables. Thanks for any info. P.S. the roulette in the lounge is really a fun game with a bunch of people as the minimum bet is only $.25. You could actually play there for hours on $10 if you wanted. markf Posted October 7, 2015 #2 Share Posted October 7, 2015 Tell us more about the .25 roulette --where is it located on the Gem
skeeter195 Posted October 7, 2015 Author #3 Share Posted October 7, 2015 If you walk in from the back of the lounge on the starboard side you will first see the blackjack machine then about 20 feet farther there will be the roulette machine. Also it is about 9 steps from the bar(12 or 13 if you have had to many) right behind the seats that face the stage.
cruisingcasinos Posted October 7, 2015 #4 Share Posted October 7, 2015 My husband loved those machines (roulette) on the pearl and dawn. He was very disappointed the aways didn't have it!
eynsteinp Posted October 7, 2015 #5 Share Posted October 7, 2015 I am not positive about blackjack machines but the Keno on the same multiage machines paid 1 point for every $10 bet not he getaway. I am guessing but imagine it is the same for video Blackjack Hope this maybe helps.
skeeter195 Posted October 8, 2015 Author #6 Share Posted October 8, 2015 Thanks, I was hoping for 5-1, but even 10-1 would be better than I am getting at the live tables. If I got 10-1 on my last cruise I would have earned between 16 and 18 thousand points, instead of the 2800 that I got.
