britichick Posted October 14, 2015 #1 Share Posted October 14, 2015 I'm a bit concerned as i've seen some feedback that this cabin is right under the spa cafe and very noisy all day and night. When we booked on the phone the agent recommended this and another room out of a few that were available at the time. Do you think I should try and change it? thanks

But after talking with friends and other pax we have no concerns about noise in any cabin on one of this class. You can also check the S-Class cabin stickie to see what others have experienced. http://boards.cruisecritic.com/showthread.php?t=911018

(Wallie - they are in 1541, WAY down the hall from you!) Is there anything available in a similar number but even numbered?

debgord Posted January 11, 2016 #6 Share Posted January 11, 2016 Has anyone ever stayed in 1555 on the Equinox? Looking for info on the room. Not worried about the noise. Just want a view of the ocean. Not the lifeboats. thanks, Deborah
jabrown40 Posted January 11, 2016 #7 Share Posted January 11, 2016 (edited) I changed a similar room for my cruise in 2017 (1545) after reading the sticky spreadsheet about the different rooms. Several mentions regarding scraping chairs and noise between 5:30 and 7am. A couple people mentioned getting earplugs from the service desk! No thank you! I was able to change to an area with suites above us. Edited January 11, 2016 by jabrown40
