Eagle Beach

Your best bet is at MVC, which is a small resort on Eagle Beach. The resort is across the street from the beach, and has a very nice restaurant and bathrooms. They rent palapas and chairs, but it is based on availability. There are other places along Eagle Beach that rent chairs, but most people have to find shade under trees. If you choose one of these, you can walk to most of the resorts along that area and eat. There are several, including Bucuti, Divi AI, and Tamarjin, that are all inclusive, and only serve their guests. The others serve everyone.

There aren't as many places to eat on Eagle Beach as there are on Palm Beach. Palm Beach is much more developed, with restaurants and bars everywhere. Since we stay in a condo, we usually grab lunch in our room. On Eagle Beach, Tulip at MVC is supposed to be very good. We've had dinner there, which was excellent. Also, there are several restaurants at Amsterdam Manor. There is a small restaurant at Manchebo, which serves burgers, etc. at lunch. If you decide to go to Palm Beach, you'll have tons of places to choose from, all within a few minutes of each other.

Actually, non-guests can use the beach at the Divi. They sell coupons that can be redeemed for food or drinks at thei bars & restaurants.

We had a cab driver take us there when we asked for his suggestion last year for a good spot on Eagle Beach.

I've heard about that. The problem with Divi right now is that Mother Nature has taken most of the beach in that area away, so we (the regular Aruba vacationers) aren't recommending that right now. There is a thread on here showing recent pictures. I'll use the word that best describes the beach erosion again here, SHOCKING!. When the beach gets back to anywhere close to normal, we'll let everyone know. Druif Beach (at Divi) has always been one of my favorites
