Regent Mariner Alaska shore excursions help

We are booked on RSSC Mariner in June to cruise Seward to Vancouver. Any information on shore excursions and experiences would be appreciated. It seems in Juneau if we do the helicopter to the glacier and dogsledding then we can't go out and whale watch. I tried to book independently for a whale watch but they are all at the same time! Help!
