MTElkwhistle Posted November 19, 2015 #1 Share Posted November 19, 2015 Should OBC show on the (notoriously glitchy) website? If so where? I can't see any on mine. I have paid in full and am around 90 days out. Thanks
TeaBag Posted November 19, 2015 #2 Share Posted November 19, 2015 (edited) I have never seen it there. Ours wasn't even on our documents. We went to Guest relations a few days into the cruise and there it was on the printout. If it is refundable it will show as OBR. If it is not, OBN. We only used $50 of ours and the rest of it ($250) has already been credited to our CC. We only got off the ship on Monday. Kudos to Celebrity for another great cruise and a job well done. Rob the Cruiser Posted November 19, 2015 #3 Share Posted November 19, 2015 Incentives don't show on my documents either. There is an easy workaround. Simply call Celebrity and ask them to send you an email with the PDF that shows the entire booking which includes list of extras such as OBCs, free grats and drinks packages. az_tchr Posted November 19, 2015 #4 Share Posted November 19, 2015 Incentives and such do not ever show on the website. Here is what to do. If you book with Celebrity you should have already received a copy of your booking showing all the details. If you lost it call and they will send it again. If you book with a TA again ask them for a copy of your agreement (should already have received one when you booked). The contract will show all financial details. Do not call Celebrity as they will simply tell you to call your TA.
cle-guy Posted November 19, 2015 #5 Share Posted November 19, 2015 Rather than wait in line at guest services, check your account on TV, it will be there once posted. OBC usually does not post to accounts until overnight 1st night, so don't bother checking until the next day, no need to waste time in the long lines at guest services day 1. misty57 Posted November 20, 2015 #6 Share Posted November 20, 2015 My $300 OBC perk is on my reservation. I noticed it this morning when I made final payment.
MTElkwhistle Posted November 20, 2015 Author #7 Share Posted November 20, 2015 Thank You all for your input - this is the first time I have used a US TA so was unsure of the procedure.
tangerinebunny Posted November 20, 2015 #8 Share Posted November 20, 2015 Our OBC amount kept changing. We booked on board and had what seemed to be lot to us. So I called and was emailed an invoice with the correct amount. The CC rep said that the website usually gets it wrong and she would ensure that Celebrity's records were correct. Funny how it never went UP, just DOWN.
