Grandeur of the Seas questions

Recommended Posts

We just booked 9 nights on Grandeur for Canada and New England next June. We are a family of 4. Two adults and two teens. Where would be the best place to find info on the Saint John and Halifax ports and what to do there. Is there a movie theater on the ship? Anybody have any experiences on this ship? How was the food and service? How would I get any navigators for this ship and ports? Thanks for any advice. Steve

Here are two websites that may be helpful:

Halifax: http://www.novascotia.com/about-nova-scotia/visitor-centres

Saint John: http://www.discoversaintjohn.com

We have been to both cities several times and really enjoyed them. If you are interested in maritime history, Halifax has an outstanding museum: The Museum of the North Atlantic. It is located right on the waterfront boardwalk. There is a section on the Titanic that is very interesting. The museum itself has something for everybody, and I think your teens would enjoy the exhibits.

Hope this helps.

For information on Halifax and St. John, go to "tomsportguides.com." It is a great resource and he has maps and suggestions on things to do in both ports. You can download anything you want to have with you. One of the best kept secrets on the Web.
