Itsbeentoolong Posted December 13, 2015 #1 Share Posted December 13, 2015 Hi guys, just a quick one....my mums just boarded Ventura with my Nan, she's moaning there's no more biscuits and no cafetiere in here cabin anymore....she's gutted hahaha, she's coming with me on Azura in 2 weeks, is it the same? Her and my dad prefer inside rooms so they can have more holidays but we're in a deluxe balcony, will I have a cafetiere in there I can give them? Daft question I know but the little things :) Thanks Dean
sagaris Posted December 13, 2015 #2 Share Posted December 13, 2015 Hi Dean, As far as I am aware there has never been a cafetiere in the cabins (not sure about suites) only a kettle with tea coffee etc. We definitely had biscuits when we sailed on the Adonia in February although the were not quite as nice as they used to be. There are coffee makers in the suites but these are the new sort where you put a coffee bag in a machine and out pops the coffee. Never used the ones we have had. Must have been there about 3/4 years. Always been biscuits.
Josy1953 Posted December 13, 2015 #4 Share Posted December 13, 2015 Back from Ventura this morning and we had biscuits in our cabin, perhaps your mum has a forgetful cabin steward.
tartanexile81 Posted December 13, 2015 #5 Share Posted December 13, 2015 Always get biscuits but different kind to what we used to get. Been cruising with P&O for quite a few years now and never had a cafetiere. Are you sure it was a P&O ship? Or did she maybe take one with her? supered Posted December 15, 2015 #8 Share Posted December 15, 2015 I remember the cabins on Ventura having a cafetiere in the maiden year but I can't comment on what happened after that as I haven't been on board since. Eddie
Fireflyuk Posted December 15, 2015 #9 Share Posted December 15, 2015 The Ventura did have cafetieres in its maiden season but they were removed when they found that, after washing them out, the coffee grains were clogging up the pipes!
