Suggestions on what to do in San Juan, late cruise stop

Depends on the time of year that you're visiting. Summer months allow for more daylight and make walking around the city enjoying the views much better. If you're one of the first to get off the ship when it docks you might be able to make it to San Cristobal Fort which is closest to the pier. Other than that there's the shops around the city and restaurants of all kinds around. If you like photography, San Juan is amazingly picturesque after dark as well. If you're into shopping, you can take a taxi to Plaza Las Americas (biggest mall in the Caribbean). There are taxis readily available for your trip back and the mall closes at 9pm. Also The Condado area (take a short taxi trip) has good nightlife, casinos, and more restaurants. Not really good hours to tour most attractions in and out of Old San Juan.
