Dress Up or Not Night

I understand that on Epic there are no formal nights but on "dress up or not night" there is a superior meal served in the main dining room. Can anyone tell me when this is because I don't want to make other dinner bookings and miss out on the special free one. I am sailing out of Barcelona on the 6th March. Thanks.

It isn't actually called "dress up or not" night (that is a separate thing which tends to just happen on longer cruises). Instead it is called "Norwegian Night Out".

 

To be honest, I'm not aware of there being anything particularly special about the meal served in the MDR on that night. It's not something that I've ever noticed.

 

Anyway, to answer your question, it is usually the first sea day, I believe.

I'll second what Keith said. There was no Dress up or Not night on our Epic cruise (or Getaway, for that matter). I've also not noticed a special MDR meal on Norwegians Night Out night, which is usually the first sea day, except that is also the day that is generally seafood night in the buffet. So get dressed up if you want and eat in the buffet! haha

The only special menu in the MDR on our recent 10 day Epic was the chocolate dessert night, which was towards the back of the cruise. No special menu on the Norwegian Night Out. Can't say I noticed much happening at all for it!
