Chefs table on the Grand

We will be on the Grand next month and we would like to do the Chefs Table again. Does anyone know if the Grand has one and where do you go to sign up for it. We did it on the Sapphire but this is the first time on the grand :-)

We've done the Chef's Table twice on the Grand with Executive Chef Snowden and both were excellent. Call the DINE line (3463) as soon as you get on board. That worked for us.

On our last 10 day princess cruise on the Grand we only had one chef's table, but I think they usually have 2 on a 10 day cruise.

Can I ask what the cost of the Chef's Table is? Trying to decide what we want to do this trip.

Definitely call the DINE line as soon as you board. If you get someone who says "you have to go see the M'D to sign up", ask to speak to someone else or hang up and call again! This happened to us. By the time we saw the M'D- I was 3rd in line- there was a 23 person waiting list and he would not take our names.

Justafem: The cost is $95/person.

 

As the participation is very limited, generally only 12 people, the earlier you can board, and call the DINE line, or talk to the head chef, the better your chances. The one time I got in, I was in my cabin, and on the phone, before noon. I'd venture to say that if you board after 1:00, you're probably not going to get in.

You could try BVE and get on first and sign up. This is also a way to get on the list for the extreme ship tour.

Chef's Table on the Grand Princess was great culinary experience. Price slightly less without alcohol.
