Aquahound Posted January 27, 2016 #3 Share Posted January 27, 2016 Anyone have experience with a deck 10 room on Indy or one of her sisters right under the WJ? Just need to now if I need to move our room. Thanks Yes, a few times. I never had a problem, mostly because the Windjammer is carpeted. Then again, these were rooms with balconies. I can't say the same for interiors that probably fall under the hard floor areas. Where I've had problems was under the pool deck.
liberiben Posted January 27, 2016 Author #4 Share Posted January 27, 2016 That is what I was thinking, it is a GTY room. I can move in the category I'm given of a GTY correct?
Ken at the beach Posted January 27, 2016 #5 Share Posted January 27, 2016 Anyone have experience with a deck 10 room on Indy or one of her sisters right under the WJ? Just need to now if I need to move our room. Thanks We had 1702 on the Liberty and never heard a thing. I would book one of the aft cabins on deck 10 without hesitation. ATC cruiser Posted January 28, 2016 #7 Share Posted January 28, 2016 I've stayed in cabin 1700, that's an aft corner cabin, not a sound from the WJ. I've also stayed in cabin 1766, that's an inside cabin just down the hall. That cabin is right next to the crew service elevator. There was so much noise coming from there, that it drowned out any noise from the WJ. I wouldn't stay in that cabin again if RCI payed me.
mvannie Posted January 28, 2016 #8 Share Posted January 28, 2016 Good question! I have been wondering the same thing. We have 1670 on NOS which is a balcony under the windjammer. Hoping it's not too loud. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

Beachammo Posted January 28, 2016 #10 Share Posted January 28, 2016 (edited) Had aft balcony cabins under the WJ many times.....never an issue with noise. Aft cabins shake a bit when docking though... Edited January 28, 2016 by Beachammo

Kevin's girl Posted January 28, 2016 #12 Share Posted January 28, 2016 While we have not cruised on the Indy, we do usually stay in a cabin under the Windjammer. We have rarely heard any sound at all. The view from there is wonderful and I would not change the cabin if I were you.
JTBCruiser Posted January 28, 2016 #13 Share Posted January 28, 2016 Had an aft cabin on the Serenade and only heard a few sounds of moving chairs/tables (they were cleaning) at night but not loud enough to disturb our sleep. Overall, I thought it was pretty quiet and the view was absolutely wonderful.
