Colo Cruiser Posted January 30, 2016 #3 Share Posted January 30, 2016 Sound proofing is very good . Really? Have you stayed in these cabins?
Kamloops50 Posted January 30, 2016 #4 Share Posted January 30, 2016 I've stayed in similar cabins on other ships and cruise lines. They might also be cabin space for the entertainment crew.
RDC1 Posted January 30, 2016 #5 Share Posted January 30, 2016 (edited) The problem is probably not what is around it, but instead what might be under it. Cannot say about E120 but I did stay in C211 which is right over the stage once (never again). Now one might think that having two decks between you and the theater would be ok. However, the two decks above the stage are open down to the stage and used for holding scenery and other items for stage operations. In that room the noise was quite high. The music from the theater was louder then the TV in the room. Now that wouldn't have been bad if it stopped when the performances stopped. However we learned that there would often be music playing in the theater late at night, often to 2 in the morning. E120 is further forward and might be far enough away. However if it is over the back stage area I would have second thoughts about booking any of those rooms. If the floor below is divided in such a way that the space below is not part of space open to the stage then it would probably be ok. Unfortunately you can not tell from the deck plans.
