Bra_BE2014 Posted February 1, 2016 #1 Share Posted February 1, 2016 I'm looking forward to taste some wine in Portugal and Spain. Can I buy a bottle while on port and bring it back to the ship? Will it be confiscated until desembarkation? Thanks and cheers, Priscila
sidari Posted February 1, 2016 #2 Share Posted February 1, 2016 The ship people will keep the bottles usually until the afternoon of the last day before disembarkation.

AmoMondo Posted February 1, 2016 #6 Share Posted February 1, 2016 Well that's the rule for sure but their enforcing of it is never that diligent. I've brought booze onboard 3 times, twice unbelievably obvious - in a carrier bag with the name of the alcohol slapped all over it and they just handed it back to me without a word after it had been through the X-ray. 2 of the 3 occasions, it wasn't for drinking onboard but bringing home, so I would not have been bothered if they'd kept it to the end of the cruise.
