MerDub Posted February 10, 2016 #1 Share Posted February 10, 2016 We have the UBP for our upcoming cruise. I know the vodka ice bar regularly has a $20 cover charge which includes two drinks, is that fee waived for those with the UBP?

hawkeyetlse Posted February 10, 2016 #3 Share Posted February 10, 2016 The terms say that the package can be used in "all bars", but as BirdTravels said, the ice bar is not actually included. I guess they would say that the $20 is not for the drinks, but for entry to the venue. Or that these drinks are a "ship specific promotion" so excluded from the package. Or that you are breaking the rules by ordering 2 drinks at the same time, so you have to pay full price…
MerDub Posted February 10, 2016 Author #4 Share Posted February 10, 2016 No. You have to pay the cover charge in full. Should be discounted. Too bad. Thanks!
Rare jcathers1 Posted February 10, 2016 #5 Share Posted February 10, 2016 Is this experience worth it? Myself and the Mrs. have never been to an ice bar.
detroitlions Posted February 10, 2016 #6 Share Posted February 10, 2016 Everything is made of Ice even your glass. It was fun most folks cant bare the cold very long but we had a blast and took tons of pictures. On CC everyone gets so worked up about the cost of what ever they do and act like there investing there money. But most things like this its up to you whether you would enjoy it and have fun. We have folks in our group that does not spend extra on anything and I feel they miss out on a lot. But then they turn around and blow hundreds in the casino so I guess to each is own. On the EPIC in the ice bar I tipped the bartender $5 bucks and he let me drink as much as I wanted.

No, but a lot of people bail quickly and will give you their extra drink tickets. My wife and I had four each when we were in there last year because people came dressed like the place was going to be 70 degrees.

Maybe they don't have ice where they're from so they're not familiar with the concept??? ;):p
