serena_17 Posted February 23, 2016 #1 Share Posted February 23, 2016 Hi, We're sailing away on Voyager this weekend (yay!) and, given the gorgeous weather we're having in Sydney, the kids are going to want to get into the pool ASAP. My question is - will the pool be available for swimming when we board? Thanks,

Rare MicCanberra Posted February 23, 2016 #3 Share Posted February 23, 2016 Yes, remember no Swim nappies allowed in case they are that young.
serena_17 Posted February 23, 2016 Author #4 Share Posted February 23, 2016 Thanks for your quick replies! Kids are 11 & 12, so no nappies (thank goodness, that was always fun when travelling!) I'll be sitting by the pool with a mojito in between finding our way around the ship. Thanks again x

GUT2407 Posted February 23, 2016 #6 Share Posted February 23, 2016 One of our cruises they were being emptied and cleaned, but that is the exception.
Kiwi Kruzer Posted February 23, 2016 #7 Share Posted February 23, 2016 One of our cruises they were being emptied and cleaned, but that is the exception. That can happen quite often. It also depends on the regulations of the port as to whether they open the pools or not. If they are closed they will have a big net over them. Rare MicCanberra Posted February 23, 2016 #8 Share Posted February 23, 2016 Sometimes they have to clean the pools due to accidents or seasickness.

KAYTWO Posted February 25, 2016 #10 Share Posted February 25, 2016 Voyager has two pools on the main deck, you will quite often find one closed on sea days but on embarkation they will be open. Have a fantastic time, the kids will have a blast.
