Victory Safe

Can anyone tell me if Victory safe is a number combination or the older type where you use a magnetic strip card?

Our room last month was a magnetic stripe safe. However, there is no guarantee all rooms have the same safe. The Victory is undergoing cabin renovations (or maybe it hasn't started yet) so that could mean changes to the safes. Couldn't tell you for sure, but that's what we had last month.

Just take an old card with magnetic strip.

 

Then you are repaired for both.

I had a magnetic strip safe in my room on Victory, but others have had the coded one, as mentioned above. I think they change things gradually on the ships as they wear out. Same with TV's . Some people are reporting that they still have the old style TV in their room, while others like me, have had the newer flat screens. So as others suggest, go prepared for either. Have a nice cruise. I really liked the ship.:)

Lido deck, 9294 had a flat screen and the combination safe on my 1/23 voyage. Great cabin location. :D
