Anthem Stargazing

Being from NJ and all the light pollution, we really hardly ever get to see the stars that are really out there. On other cruise and island vacations, I have always managed to find a dark spot where you could even see the line of the milky way across the sky.

This time, I am hoping to find a spot on Anthem that is dark enough to share with my kids.

Anyone know of a good spot. Usually forward of the bridge?

Thanks in advance.

We sailed on the Anthem TA this fall. We loved the ship, it's stunningly beautiful with amazing public spaces. (My detailed review by subject, with photos, is linked in my signature below.)

That said, one of the (few) negatives of Anthem imho is the disconnect from the water. There are very few places where you can really get outside in any peaceful way, and none forward of the bridge (as the OP asked). For stargazing (recognizing that you still have to contend with light pollution from the ship), I would get out on the wings on either side of the solarium (the only forward-facing places to be outside on Anthem, sad to say). Other possible spots: along the Deck 15 running track, and in the far aft of the Windjammer (if I'm remembering correctly).

And if you have a balcony.... :)

As for seeing the Milky Way, there's just too much light pollution on cruise ships these days, but I hope you get lucky!
