Ecuador Posted March 18, 2016 #1 Share Posted March 18, 2016 Does the ship dock right in the town or is a shuttle required?
Rare Eglesbrech Posted March 18, 2016 #2 Share Posted March 18, 2016 You need a shuttle, the port is well outside the town. It usually drops off by the river side not car from the tourist office. Beutiful little place with some lovely shops, restaurants and quaint cafes.

Only cost a few Euros. Then we had a lovely lunch overlooking the harbour. Here's some info on the Towers http://www.france-atlantic.com/tourism/must-not-miss/la-rochelle-towers
