At first I laughed, but then I realized there are many forums out there that don't allow you to start a thread until you've posted at least a few (usually 5-10) times on other threads. It wouldn't eliminate the problem completely, but I do think it might help with the number of people who come here and post, then never return to clarify, answer questions, or thank others for their help.

You are correct, Cindy, about some forum software that can be set to require this. Not sure this older software is capable of it, but it is something CC should think about. Don't know when they upgraded last, if ever, but it is something CC should think about. Also, an upgrade does not mean losing old posts; the data base can be transferred over. I know- been there done that.
