cruiseonthebrain Posted March 26, 2016 #1 Share Posted March 26, 2016 What is the most recent limit on ordering through Bon Voyage and what items does it apply to?
kona_wahine Posted March 26, 2016 #2 Share Posted March 26, 2016 I think it's 2 for bottles of hard liquor. I don't know if there is a limit on beer. It's pretty much the same price as the bar so maybe not.
Pops, Esq. Posted March 26, 2016 #3 Share Posted March 26, 2016 "Two products per booking." Includes all alcohol (champagne, wine, liquor, beer). But a "package" (i.e., 4 pack of beer) is one "product." https://help.carnival.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/1354
cruiseonthebrain Posted March 27, 2016 Author #4 Share Posted March 27, 2016 So it is by booking and not by cabin? What if somebody who is not booked is buying it and sending as a gift?

Kcruiser2014 Posted March 27, 2016 #6 Share Posted March 27, 2016 So it is by booking and not by cabin? What if somebody who is not booked is buying it and sending as a gift? Limit is still two products. However, they could purchase cruise cash and order bottles through room service. If memory serves, it is the same price, although I believe they charge the 15% gratuity. Limit is two bottles from room service each day.
cruiseonthebrain Posted March 27, 2016 Author #7 Share Posted March 27, 2016 When we were married onboard we received numerous gifts of champagne from Bon Voyage. More than two bottles on the first day- and a few more later in the cruise. I am trying to figure out how that was allowed. We have friends celebrating an anniversary on an upcoming cruise (we will not be cruising with them) and I wanted to get them each a nice bottle and mixer and a bottle of champagne for a toast. jocko4279 Posted March 27, 2016 #8 Share Posted March 27, 2016 Something's not right I see the language but I was able to order beer to be delivered to my room for everyday on my upcoming cruise. My last cruise as well I had them everyday.
TomAceEsq Posted March 27, 2016 #9 Share Posted March 27, 2016 Yeah. Something isn't right with either their language or booking engine. On our Inspiration sailing three weeks ago, we had beer AND champagne delivered the first day, and champagne delivered every night thereafter. Prepaid and nights specified through Bon Voyage weeks ahead of time.
cruiseonthebrain Posted March 27, 2016 Author #10 Share Posted March 27, 2016 Whew- at least I am not the only one confused by this. Could it be limit two per purchase?
jocko4279 Posted March 27, 2016 #11 Share Posted March 27, 2016 I know at one point the limit was two per DAY, maybe there is something missing in the way they have it worded and that's what they are trying to say

bobsfamily Posted March 27, 2016 #13 Share Posted March 27, 2016 (edited) From my own experience... you cannot order more than 2 "products" in one basket. It will not allow you to check out, and you cannot go back in that day... BUT I have gone back a couple of days later and ordered more beer or another bottle of booze and it took the order AND when I got onboard all beer/liquor was delivered/in the cabin. One order was the package of cooler and beer with koozies/cups/bottle opener, don't think matters but just wanted to throw that in... the 4 pack of beer was $24 and the cooler package with 4 beers is $39. I think as well that if the person ordering it changes (ie if friends are sending you gifts for wedding/birthday/whatever) then each order might work on the same day....
