Chris - talk about confused - icon_confused.gif you did clear up the differences in the robes - great pic's. Still curious about shampoo in minisuites - we are booked in D728 - July 3, 2004 - want to know is the shampoo in dispensers on the wall in the shower or in little bottles. Plus I'm hearing different things about there being an arcade on the ship. I really enjoy reading what you always have to say - very informative..enjoy your cruise.......thanks again..NancyK icon_razz.gif

Thank you, Chris! I think the plush robe will be just perfect for the balcony going through Alaska. Especially with champagne and chocolate covered strawberries. Or a very steamy cup of coffee in the morning.

I can only speak of the Golden mini-suite we were in but the shampoo came in little bottles on day one and was replaced by shampoo in little packets after that.

I guess we lucked out somehow. We had plush robes in our balcony cabin. Guess they ran out of waffle robes. The robe was so heavy that when I put it on, I felt like a big bear. icon_smile.gif

I wouldn't trust the Cruise Personalizer. Everything I put in it wasn't even acknowledged. For the robe, just ask your cabin steward when you meet him/her.

We also got the plush robes when we sailed last year. Do you have a choice when you ask you cabin steward to bring one? Loved the plush ones.

Chris,

You do come up with the most amazing stuff!

Are the plush robes large enough to go around a rather "plus sized" person. My travel companion is rather large and as I remember, the waffle robe fit more like a hospital gown (never quite made it completely around).

Thanks,

Lynda

We also received the plush type robes on both Princess cruises. They do fit the plus sized person nicely.

Those of you who requested plushed robes and got them at no extra charge - was that depended on the type of cabin you booked? We have a balcony on the Diamond. Do you think we can request plush or is that reserved for mini-suite and above?
